ABOUT SHAKIRIN SHAH
Muhammad Shakirin Bin Mohd Shah is currently a student in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Diploma in Screen Media. He was aspire to be a Film maker when his parents first brought him to the cinema when he was in Secondary one. Since then, Shakirin began to have a deep interest in film making. Using his camera phone and digital camera, he created short videos and learnt the basics of cinematography and story-telling. His dream is to be a successful film director and to direct films in Hollywood.
Shakirin's biggest inspirations were Christopher Nolan, Joseph Kosinski, Michael Bay and the late Tan Sri P. Ramlee. His favourite movies from them are Inception, Interstellar, Oblivion, Transformers and Seniman Bujang Lapok. He's also a big fan of Comic book movies. During his free time, we would often spent the time alone going around taking photos, hit the gym with his brothers and go to the cinema. He does illustration work too during his free time.
